CLINTON REID CAMPBELL
CAMPBELL, CLINTON REID The death of Clinton Reid Campbell of Ripples, NB occurred Monday, April 20, 2009 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home. Born on Sunday, July 17, 1921 in Ripples, NB he was the son of the late John R. and Lilla Belle (Young) Campbell. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Muriel, and his sister Reva Larlee. Reid is survived by his daughter Elaine (Barry) Palmer, and his son Al (Marilyn) as well as his grandchildren, Brad (Tanya) Palmer, Duane Palmer and Scott (Lynn) Campbell; great grandchildren, Kenneth and Meaghan Palmer; Ben and Leah Campbell; brother, Clifford; sisters, Betty and Rhoda; several nieces and nephews. Reid was a Charter member of the United Empire Loyalist, Fredericton Chapter; a fifty year member of the L.O.L., a sixty year (life) member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch # 12, Reid also served with the Canadian Army in Canada. Resting at the Ripples United Pentecostal Church in Ripples, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, April 24, 2009 with Pastor Landon Decker officiating. Internment will take place in the Ripples Community Cemetery.
