ANDERSON, ELLA BLANCHE The death of Ella Blanche Anderson of Burton, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Saturday, April 25th, 2009. Born in Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bernice and Annie (Clark) Dykeman and wife of the late Val Anderson. Ella was a member of Oromocto Baptist Church, Cecilia Rebecca Lodge # 129, Burton's Women's Institute and a life member of the Women's Missionary Society as well as the IOOF Victoria Lodge # 13. She is survived by son, Robert Anderson of Burton, NB and brother in law, Eugene Broomell of Florida. In addition to her husband Val and her parents, Ella was predeceased by her infant son, Roy; sisters, Mildred and Gertrude and brothers, Ronald and Allen Visitation will be held at Oromocto Baptist Church on Monday, April 27th, 2009 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 at 2pm with Dr. Perry Hanley officiating. Interment will be in the Burton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oromocto Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
