DIXON, LLOYD - 1932 - 2009 Lloyd Dixon of Aroostook passed away at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on May 5, 2009. Born in Cliffordvale, NB on June 26, 1932, he was the son of the late Alonzo and Agnes (Sullivan) Dixon. Lloyd leaves behind his wife Ruby (LaFrance) Dixon; his daughter Mary Kennedy (Martin) of Springfield, NB; his son Michael Dixon of Aroostook; his sister Annie Goodine of Aroostook; grandsons Taylor and Dylan Dixon both of St. Stephen, NB; and sister-in-laws Phyllis Dixon of Saco, ME and Gertrude Dixon of Pembroke, ON. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents; his sisters Laura Dixon, Adelia McCarthy, Freda Langley; and brothers William, Leonard, Edward, and George Dixon. In accordance to Lloyd's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Aroostook, NB. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating.
