REID, GLENDEEN BERTHA The passing of Glendeen Bertha (Munn) Reid, wife of the late Elva Reid, occurred on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 15, 1933 in Holtville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Davis) Munn. Glendeen worked for Keays Fruit Market on York Street until her retirement. She enjoyed bingo and was an avid wrestling fan. Glendeen was a loving mother that will be missed dearly by her family. Glendeen is survived by her son, John Reid (Susan); daughters, Vonnie Munn (Charlie), Darlene Russell (Ron) and Debbie Berryman (Bob); 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Floris; brothers, Stafford (Marilyn) and Lori (Lorraine). Besides her parents and husband, Glendeen was predeceased by her sons, Tony and Carmen, infant children, Patsy and James; sisters, Patsy and Nellie; brothers, Arthur, Winston, Gordon and Preston. Visitation will take place at Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church, Taymouth, NB on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the church on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor Mike Trail officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Jeff Munn, Kevin Gaudet, Adam Martin, Floyd Munn and William Reid; Honourary Pallbearers are Laurie-Ann Hunter, Nadine Shaw, Greg Berryman, Jenna, Wayne and Bradley Reid. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church (Compassionate Fund) or to the charity of the donor's choice.
