COLWELL, IVAN H. The death of Ivan H. Colwell occurred on Friday, May 15th, 2009 at his home in Minto. Born in Minto, New Brunswick on May 21st, 1940, he was the son of the late Evelyn (Walsh) and Redvers Colwell. Ivan is survived by his loving wife of over fifty years Mary; two sons, Henry (Jennifer) and Allen; one daughter Janice (Bailey) Doiron; grandchildren, Heather, Kirk, Kristie, A.J., Becky and Colin; brothers, Ernest (Jean), and Douglas (Ruth); sisters, Lois Caissie, Vera Petrovics and Joyce (Joe) Gallant; several sisters and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Caissie and Alice Colwell, and his youngest son Carl Colwell. Ivan will be sadly missed by the community. As per Ivan's wishes, there will be no visiting or service. Instead, friends and family may attend a gathering at the family home on Saturday, May 16th.
