DONALD LEROY BILLINGS
BILLINGS, DONALD LEROY Donald L. Billings of Upper Hainesville passed away May 16, 2009 at Dr, Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1920 at Central Hainesville, he was a son of the late Woodford and Mamie (Braun) Billings. Don was a mechanic by trade and operated a Service Station at Upper Hainesville from 1950 until June 2008. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed snowmobiling and camping. Don was a member of the Staples Settlement Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Pat (Currie) Billings; a daughter, Lynn McRae (Roger Savoy), Sussex; a son, Tim Billings (Darlene), Fredericton; six grandchildren, Gary Morehouse (Jackie), Dana Morehouse, Erin Kislingbury (Mark), Jon Billings (Diana), Mike Billings and Leanne Fancy (Rev. Seth); four great grandchildren, Ashley and Emma Morehouse and Ethan and Parker Kislingbury; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Neal and her husband Earl and infant Alice; two brothers, Wilbur Billings and infant Frank. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Watson Williams and Rev. Seth Fancy officiating. Interment in Central Hainesville Cemetery.
