BANKS, ADA MARY MARGUERITE The passing of Ada Mary Marguerite Banks of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Lawrence "Skinner" Banks occurred on Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 19, 1922 in Priceville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Grace (Stewart) Price. She was a member of the Marysville Baptist Church. Ada spent the last years of her life surrounded and comforted by her babes (cats and dogs). Ada is survived by her daughters, Elaine VanHorne (Art) of Marysville, NB and Becky Banks-MacLean (Harry) of Marysville, NB; son, Paul Banks (Wendy) of Fredericton, NB; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Price (Douglas), Bertha McNeil, Ethel Brewer all of Fredericton, NB and Geneva Jones of Geary, NB; several nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Lucie Kim Martin, Sandra Lee Amos, Brenda Grant and Brandy Guyette. Besides her parents and husband, Ada was predeceased by infant twins, Herbert and Frank; sisters, Olive, Nellie, Mary and Phyllis; brothers, Walter and Frank. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Funeral Service will take place at Marysville Baptist Church on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 11 am with The Rev. Ralph Irving and The Rev. John Cathcart officiating. Interment will take place in Marysville Baptist Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Fredericton SPCA, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
