MACNEIL, DOUGLAS MICHAEL Formerly of Fredericton, Doug passed away May 28, 2009 at the Foothill's Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Born in Fredericton, August 7, 1964. He was involved in the Cub and Scout movement, worked for a time at Capital Men's and Boy's Wear and was currently employed by Talvin Security in Calgary. Doug graduated from Fredericton High School and St. Thomas University ("BA 94") He is survived by his mother Lila MacNeil of Fredericton, two sisters Cathy of Toronto, Barbara of Whitecourt Alberta and one brother Carl, his wife Judy and their daughter Samantha of Toronto. He was predeceased by his father Paul, his uncle John Trebble, grandparents Gertrude & Hartley Trebble and Mary & Francis MacNeil. Visitation at St. Dunstans 1-2pm, there will be a memorial service held at St. Dunstans Church at the corner of Regent & Brunswick Streets at 2pm, Thursday June 4, 2009. Burial at Hermitage Cemetery, Woodstock Rd. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion # 4, 199 Queen Street. Honourary pallbearers will be his cousins Tod and Neil Trebble, Troy Young and friend Trevan Lester.
