MEISNER, DOREEN YVONNE The passing of Doreen Yvonne Meisner, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Murray Meisner, occurred on June 3, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 27, 1932 in Berwick, NS, she was a daughter of Olive Dunham. She was an active member for many years at Devon Park Baptist Church; Doreen was president of the Ladies Friendly Auxiliary from 1982-1984, she was also involved with Caleb's Clan and was always there to help out in the kitchen. She enjoyed crafts, bowling, gardening and camping. Besides her mother, she is survived by two grandchildren, Jeremy Joseph and Angela Dawn (Todd Morrison) Meisner and their mother, Jacquelyn (Billie) Oakley-Lewis; great granddaughter, Teagan Lila Morrison; brother, David Dunham of Cambridge, NS; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Doreen was predeceased by her son, Garry J. Meisner. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Funeral Service will be held from Devon Park Baptist Church on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor Lawrence Meade officiating.
