
MARY WILHELMINA CURRIE
CURRIE, MARY WILHELMINA The passing of Mary Wilhelmina Currie, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on June 17th, 2009. She was born on March 10th, 1915 in Fredericton, the daughter of Margaret (Thwaites) and John Graham of Sunderland, England and Ireland. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Philip; her parents; son-in-law, Dale Snowdon and great granddaughter, Emily Currie. Survived by her children, Philip J. Currie (Helen) of Douglas, Sheila Milne (James) of St. Chrysostome, Quebec and Susan Snowdon of Moncton. Mary's also survived by 10 grandchildren, Andrew Currie (Holly), Nancy Currie Maddox (Warren), Pam MacIntosh (George), Alexander Milne, Cynthia Milne, Jill Milne, Heather Szemenyei (Frank), Kelly Manders (Brian), Beth Snowdon Murdock (Chris) and Dale Snowdon; 12 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 22nd, 2009 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Ralph Irving of Brunswick Street Baptist Church officiating. A reception to follow the service will be held in the Fireside room. There will be no visitation by request. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a memorial of the donor's choice. Pallbearers for the service will be Andrew Currie, Dale Snowdon, Heath Currie, Jarrod Currie, Warren Maddox and George MacIntosh. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery.
