GREENE, A. MARGUERITE "MAGGIE" The death of A. Marguerite "Maggie" Greene occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, June 17th, 2009. Born in Nashwaaksis, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Viva (Brewer) Logan and the wife of the late Lyman Oswald Greene. Maggie was a very talented and gifted lady who enjoyed, Painting, Quilting and Cross-stitching. She was a member of the Fredericton Curling Club for many years. When she could no longer play physically she was devoted to watching Curling on TV. She treasured the times spent at the Cottage on Harvey Lake for over fifty years. She was also an active member of Brunswick Street Baptist Church for many years, enjoying the activities of the church and The Turps Painting Club. She will be sadly missed by family and many friends. Survived by one daughter, Jane Mackin (Brian) of Fredericton; one son, David Greene (Joan) of Lower Sackville, NS; grandchildren, Paul Greene, Mark Greene, Andrea Greene and Marsha Mackin; great grandchildren, Shyanne Mackin, Sierra Mackin, Julia Greene and Emma Greene; one sister, Doris "Dort" Clarke of Dartmouth, NS. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Lyman Oswald Greene. There will be no visitation by request a memorial service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 21st, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Greg Geldart will officiate. Interment will be in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Brunswick Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
