KITCHENER (KIT) EARLE BLOIS
BLOIS, KITCHENER (KIT) EARLE Kitchener (Kit) Earle Blois, 67 of Qualicum Beach B.C. passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 22, 2009. Kit was predeceased by his wife Rosalie in 2007. He was born January 5, 1942 in Saint John, New Brunswick and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force prior to enjoying a long career with Air Canada. Kit lived the majority of his life in Fredericton, N.B. and moved to Qualicum Beach in 2008. He is survived by his four daughters Tina (Jack) Korycki of Yellowknife NWT; Joanne (Bryan) Ramsay of Chico, California; Jackie (Glen) Pugh of Parksville B.C. and Jill (Peter) Rose and beloved grandchildren Patrick and Emma Rose of Calgary, Alberta. Kit is also survived by sister Sandra (Pat) O'Leary, Riverview N.B.; sister Ellen (John) Logan, mother Renée Melanson and sister-in-law Carol Blois all of Saint John, N.B.; special friend Elaine Bartlett of Calgary, Alberta and many nieces and nephews. Kit was predeceased by his father Kitchener and brother Kenny. Those who knew Kit will not forget the stories, the trips for coffee, the crossword puzzles at the kitchen table, sharing a beer or two, discussions about books and movies, the fishing expeditions and the endless stream of jokes. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends across Canada. Thanks to all the caregivers for their kindness over the past several weeks. At Kit's request there will be no services. Donations in memory of Kit may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
