HOLMES, FLORENCE MARY The death of Florence Mary Holmes of Minto, NB occurred Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in Richibucto Village, NB she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Delia (Richard) Breau. She moved to Minto in 1967 where she took over the family business, Holmes Grocery, until 1981, continuing on as a landlady, which she enjoyed so much. She was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Florence is survived by her loving daughter Belinda Colwell (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Ryan James Colwell (Cortney) and Kristin Marie Colwell; her sisters, Viola LaRoche of Princeton, Mass and Jeanetta Fairservice of Oshawa, ON; many nieces and nephews; and her four legged grand-puppy, Millie, who got one last cuddle in Palliative Care. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Roy Allan Holmes; an infant brother Baby Alyre; a brother Roger Breau; a sister, Bertha (Cindy) Breau. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Monday, June 29, 2009 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Minto with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Internment will take place in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish donation made to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family. www.mintofh.com
