THOMPSON, GORDON 'BARRY' The family of Professor G. Barry Thompson regret to report his death on Monday, June 29th, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Survived by his wife, Colleen Whitney Thompson; sons Randy, Trevor, Duncan; daughters Sheila, Robyn and Natalie, many grandchildren, friends and colleagues, all very dear to him. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 5th, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Atrium, Student Union Building, UNB Campus. A further notice with more information will appear in Friday and Saturday's paper.
