CARR, EVELYN The passing of Evelyn Carr, wife of the late Woodrow Carr, occurred on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 28th, 1930 in Douglas, NB, she was the daughter of the late Garnett and Addie (Allen) McGibbon. Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Phyllis (Tom) Dalton of Geary, Crystal (Paul) Ingraham of Esteys Bridge, Denise Carr (Frank Ward) of Riverview; one daughter-in-law, Laverne Carr-Phyllips (Bernie) of Geary; one brother-in-law, Wendall Middleton of Lakeville Corner; one sister-in-law, Dorene McGibbon of Douglas; six grandchildren, Heather Lambe, Jacqueline Kelly, Brenden Carr, Joshua Rogers, Justin and Jacob Ward; three great grandchildren, Samantha Dalton, Jessica Kelly and Harmony Arbeau; several nieces and nephews and special friends; Mary Chisholm and Lisa D'Anjou. Evelyn was predeceased by her three sons, David, Richard and Murray Carr; one daughter, Yvonne Carr; four brothers, Lloyd, Eddie, Donnie and Clifford McGibbon; two sisters, Mary Middleton and Louise McGibbon and one grandson, Kevin Lambe. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 at Victory Tabernacle Church, 143 Douglas Avenue, Fredericton, NB from 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 at 2pm from the Victory Tabernacle Church with Rev. Weldon Mutch officiating and Rev. Harold Jenkins assisting. Pallbearers for this service will be: Emery Howe, Wade Hooper, Mario D'Anjou, Wayne Steen, Harold Thompson and Jim Munn. Interment will take place in the Upper Geary Cemetery (Spurden Carr).
