
EUNICE MAY WALLER
WALLER, EUNICE MAY Eunice May (Gaddas) Waller, wife of the late Jack Waller of St. Stephen passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital on July 1st, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Born in St. Stephen on January 3rd, 1925, she was the daughter of William Frederick and Elizabeth Eunice (McLaughlin) Gaddas. She attended St. Stephen schools prior to enlisting in the RCAF in 1943. Survived by her daughters; Carole (David Ashley) of St. Stephen and Lynda (Kenneth Strout) of Hermon, Maine; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Tim Newman) and their children, Meredith and Jack of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandsons, Jason Strout (Marguerite) and their children, KC, Bethany, Nataleigh and Amanda of Madison, Maine and Lt. Jared Strout USN of Norfolk, Virginia; sister-in-law; Joyce Stowe of London, England, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her grandson, Bruce David Ashley, two brothers, four sisters and one grand-niece. A celebration of her life will be held at S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 at 4 pm conducted by Rev. Dr. Mark Hatfield. Family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Volunteer Centre of Charlotte or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment of ashes will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, July 25th at the Oak Bay Rural Cemetery.
