THELMA I. PARKER

PARKER, THELMA I. The passing of Thelma I. Parker, wife of the late Benson Parker of Doaktown occurred suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday July 11, 2009. Born on July 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Ruby (Amos) and Walter Doak. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother Murray. In her earlier years she was employed with NB Tel as a telephone operator. She loved to make quilts, knit and was an excellent seamstress. Thelma is survived by one son; Keith (Barry) (Lynn) of Doaktown; two grandchildren Rodney of London ON and Mandi of Calgary Alberta; one sister Lottie Storey (Russell) of Doaktown; two great grandchildren, Alexis and Corbin; niece Sherry (Jeff) Nagle; sister-in-law; Carol Robinson and Patsy Parker, cousins, aunts and uncles. There will be no visitation at Thelma's request. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, with Pastor John Treese officiating. Burial will follow in the United Church Cemetery. At the request of the family donations to a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated. Active Pallbearers are: Fulton Green, Charles Stewart, Boyd Gilks, Kirk Lyons, Brian Lyons and Haviland Amos. Honorary Pallbearers: Leona Lyons, Carol Robertson, Olive O'Donnell, Shirley Gilks, Margaret Jardine, Dorothy Colford and Cassie Norrad. Arrangements in care of Davidson's Funeral Home (622-7464)
