NISBET, JAMES (HAMISH) The passing of James (Hamish) Nisbet of St. Andrews, NB, formerly of Fredericton, husband of Bertha (Baillie) Nisbet, occurred on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB. Born on December 21, 1933 in Kilwinning, Scotland, he was the son of the late George and Marion (Gordon) Nisbet. James was a Royal Canadian Mounted Police Staff Sergeant. After his retirement he did a lot of security for NB for several years. James enjoyed reading, playing guitar, singing, artwork, camping, swimming and boats. In addition to his wife Bertha, James is survived by his daughters, Dawn Gale (Jim) of St. Andrews, NB and Darlene Jackson (John) of Charters Settlement, NB; grandchildren, Keith (Tabatha), Kim and Kendra Gale, Emily and Calum Jackson; great grandchildren, Annika and Jamie Gale; sister, Pat Brown (Doug) of Chamcook, NB and nieces, Heather Bartlett (David), Holly O'Rouke (Jeff) and Heidi Brown all of St. Andrews, NB. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Memorial Service will take place at Greenock Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews, NB at a day and time to be announced. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Greenock Presbyterian Church, Alzheimer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
