MACFARLANE-CLARK, MARION MAE Marion M. MacFarlane-Clark of Southampton, NB passed away July 16th, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Marion was born in 1925 at Campbell Settlement, York Co., NB, a daughter of the late Frank and Bessie (Dunlap) Stairs. Marion was employed for many years at Tony's Restaurant. She loved birds and animals and will be sadly missed by her little dog Gracie. She is survived by her step-children, Linda DesRoches, Southampton, NB, June Price (Dave Vance), Prince William, NB, Helen Simonds (Reginald), Northampton, NB and Joyce Jones (Ronald), McKellar, ON, Paul Clark (Nancy), Southampton, NB, Fred Clark (Eunice), Campbell Settlement, NB and Gerald Clark (Lynda), Temperance Vale, NB, Phillip MacFarlane, Hawkins Corner, NB, Laureen Scheibelhut, Calgary, AB, Chris MacFarlane (Gwen), Millville, NB and Melanie MacFarlane, Halifax, NS; four sisters, Winnifred Sala, New Britain, CT, Marie Simonds, Woodstock, NB, Carol Cole, Oshawa, ON and Ethel Antworth, Houlton, ME; four brothers, Floyd Stairs (Rosetta), Nackawic, Eugene Stairs (Dolores), Temperance Vale, Ronald Stairs (Nancy), Brooklin. ON and Bernard Stairs (Minabel), Littleton, ME; a step-daughter-in-law, Joan Clark, Ajax, ON; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Clark; her second husband, Milton MacFarlane; a step-son, Irvine Clark; a sister, Marguerite Stairs; a brother Lambert Stairs; two sons-in-law, Fred Price and Owen DesRoches and a step-grandson, Larry Clark. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Legere officiating. Interment will be in Otis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Des Roches, Derek Clark, Tobey Clark, Jeff Clark, Bobby Price and Ricky Simonds.
