SLOAN, JUNE G. June G. Sloan of Magaguadavic, NB passed away July 22, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. June was born in 1944, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lila (Tracy) Newell. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Harvey United Pentecostal Church. June is survived by her husband, Percy Sloan; five daughters, Marilyn Short (Ronnie), McAdam, NB, Vivian McDonald (Johnny), Davenport, Florida, Darlene Donahue (Patrick), Harvey, NB, June Gillespie (Wendell), McAdam, NB and Laurel Sloan, Harvey, NB; two sons, Dale Sloan (Debbie), Smithfield, NB and Mark Sloan (Angie), Magaguadavic, NB; grandchildren, Billy, Clint, Kim, Karen, Coleen, Shawna, Chantelle, Jacqueline, Shawn, Chad, Devon, Rachel, Philip and Shelby; thirteen great grandchildren, a sister, Glenna Little (Terry), Perth-Andover, NB; a brother, Wendell Newell (Chris), Brantford, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by a brother, Merle Newell. Visitation will be held at the Harvey United Pentecostal Church, Harvey Station on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Todd McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Magaguadavic. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Billy Short, Chad Donahue, Devon Donahue, Shawn Sloan, Philip Sloan and Shelby Swan.
