BLAKE ELLIOTT MACLEAN
MACLEAN, BLAKE ELLIOTT Blake E. MacLean of Harvey, NB passed away July 26, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Harvey, NB in 1933, a son of the late Cecil and Margaret Mae (Bell) MacLean. Blake was a retired pipefitter and a member of the Pipefitter's Union and Cherry Mountain Masonic Lodge #50. He is survived by his wife, Delphine D. (Lord) MacLean; a son, Bradley MacLean (Cindy), New Maryland, NB; two grandchildren, Ashley and Brett; brothers, Orlie MacLean (Eleanor), Milton MacLean (Anne), Wayne MacLean (Beryl), Paul MacLean (Clara) all of Harvey, NB and Sydney MacLean (Ena) of Plaster Rock, NB; sisters-in-law, Sheila Young (David), Nackawic, NB, Patricia Thomason (Basil), Tracy, NB and Gweneth Lord, Fredericton Junction, NB; brothers-in-law, Rolly Lord (JoAnn), Fredericton, NB and Bernie Lord (Lesley), Quispamsis, NB, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Blake was predeceased by a brother John MacLean and John's wife Janice and a brother-in-law Glendon Lord. Visitation will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Basil Lowery officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
