CUSACK, DANIEL "DAN" PATRICK Today I not only lost my husband, I lost my best friend. His smile was such a joy to see, and through all his illness he never once complained. Remembered in Love Jeremiah 31:3 The passing of Daniel "Dan" Patrick Cusack, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Eleanore (Yeomans) Cusack, occurred on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on March 20, 1925, he was a son of the late C.J. (Steve) and Margaret Cusack. Dan was employed with Canadian Pacific Railway from 1940 thru 1985. In addition to his wife of 23 years, Dan is survived by sisters, Veronica "Norma" Cusack and Mary Harrigan (Bruce); brothers, William "Bill" Cusack and Donald Cusack (Eileen); sister-in-law, Wanda Cusack/Cushing; brother-in-law, Ron Yeomans (Barb); several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Dan was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Donovan and Dorothy Cusack; brothers, Gregory "Greg" Cusack, Francis Cusack, Cedric "Sid" Cusack; sisters-in-law, Mildred Cusack and Geraldine Cusack; brothers-in-law, Leo Donovan, Donald Yeomans and Chris Webb; nephew, Mark Cusack. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August, 22, 2009 at 12 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating and Rev. Bob Dunlop assisting. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Alzheimer's Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
