MCGUIRE, WILLIAM (BILL) JAMES At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, August 21st, 2009, William (Bill) James McGuire (1930 to 2009) of St. Stephen, NB. He was the husband of the late Barbara Jean (Combley) and son of the late William James and Christine Mae (Egan) McGuire. He was born in Saint John, NB and lived in St. Stephen, McAdam, Yarmouth, Digby, Fredericton and Moncton, before retiring back to St. Stephen from CP Express. He was always on the go with many groups and organizations from hockey, to Lions, to Knights of Columbus and Legion in the communities where he lived. Forever loved and missed by his daughter, Christine of Yarmouth, NS, sons, Ron (Arlene) of Tower Hill, NB, Father Bob of Miramichi, NB, and Eric (Sherry) of Kentville, NS, grandchildren, Greg, Amanda (Rick) Smith, Rebecca Libby, Roseann (Peter), Katie (Jeff) Duchesneau, Sean Libby and Julian, great grandson, Kyle Smith, his sisters, Doreen of Saint John, NB, Patty (Bill) Reid of Charlottetown, PEI, Judy (Allan) Dunsmore of Calgary, AB, Sheila of London, ON, his brothers, George (Gaye) of London, ON, Leo (Jeannette) of Stouffville, ON, Pat (Betty) of Rothesay, NB and Gerry (Sybil) of Gloucester, ON, sisters in law, Barb of London, ON, Maxine (Dick) Smith of Fredericton, NB, brothers in law, Jim (Rossi) Hayter of Miramichi, NB, Jack (Judy) Nicholson of Bathurst, NB, Byron (Bonnie) Boyd of Camrose, AB and very good friend Janet Slattery as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Bill was predeceased by his wife, his parents, his sister, Betty, his brother, Ray and sister in law, Donna Nicholson. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 24th, 2009 at 11 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Union Street, St. Stephen, NB. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. Interment in Milltown Catholic Cemetery, St. Stephen, NB. For those who wish remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
