REID, ISA MURIEL The death of Isa Muriel (Hambrook) Reid, wife of the late Marven A. Reid, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Sept 4, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 25, 1925 in Renous, NB, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Susan (Underhill) Hambrook. Isa was a long time active member of St. Mary's Anglican Church in Fredericton, NB. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Reid Nahabedian (the Rev. Canon Harold Nahabedian) of Toronto, ON; son, William "Bill" Reid (Lorna nee Scott) of St. Catharine's, ON; special friend and companion, Gerard Duguay of Laval, QC; grandchildren, A. Scott Reid (Laura) of Guelph, ON and Jill White (Ryan) of St. Catharine's, ON; great granddaughter, Olivia; sisters, Judy Travis (Edge) of Renous, NB and Leslie Hustins of Bedford, NS; brothers, Sterling Hambrook (Melva) of Renous, NB and William "Billy" Hambrook (Wanda) of Moncton, NB; sisters-in-law, Ruth Hambrook (Mark) and Mona Hambrook (Perley) both of Miramichi, NB; many cherished nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Special thank you to niece Kathy Hay and to her family in Fredericton. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Mark, Perley and Floyd Hambrook. Visitation will take place at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated from St. Mary's Anglican Church on Mon. September 7, 2009 at 11 am with Father Ian Wetmore as celebrant, Father R. B. Stockall preaching, Ven. Richard McConnell, Rev. Canon Harold Nahabedian and Rev. Kevin Stockall assisting. Active and honourary pallbearers will be her grandson and nephews. Interment will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Blackville, NB at about 3:30pm. For those who wish, remembrances made to St. Mary's Anglican Church or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.
