MACLEAN, GERALD ROY At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, October 5, 2009 Gerald R. MacLean of Barkers Point passed away. He was 75. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Dr. Roy and Violet (Lawlor) MacLean. Gerald was affiliated with the United Church of Canada, and before amalgamation a member of the Barker's Point Rec Council as well as the Barker's Point Lions Club. He was employed with Irving Oil for 33 years as a Credit Manager. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Mills) MacLean; son, Tony (Audrey); daughters Cathy Green (Michael) and Karen MacLean (Trent); granddaughters, Lindsay MacLean (Darren), Courtney Goos (MacLean) Joey; grandsons, Nick and Zander; great grandsons, Ace and Kash; sister in law, Marion McGee (Hood); one niece; one nephew; several cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. Funeral service will be on Thursday from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm with Rev Bonnie Wynn officiating. Reception to follow. Interment in the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam NB. In lieu of flowers memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Fund or Neonatal Unit DECRH would be appreciated.
