CARRIER, J. STEWART It is with deep sadness the family is announcing the sudden passing of J. Stewart Carrier on October 18, 2009. Born in Dalhousie, NB; moved to Fredericton in early 1990's. Stewart was a lover of nature and walked endlessly enjoying the outdoors. With pleasant disposition and his great generosity, Stewart was always a pleasure to have around. He will sadly be missed by all. Stewart is survived by Carmella and Joseph Comeau of Moncton, NB, Eva and Nelson Lavigne from Fredericton, NB, Teen and Murray Hayes of Fredericton, NB, Shirley O'Brien and family of Fredericton, NB, Leon and Judy Carrier of Durham Bridge, NB, Mona Carrier and family of Lorne, NB, Howard Carrier of Fredericton, NB and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Gertrude Carrier; brothers, Raymond and Preston Carrier; nephews, Joseph and Laddie Lyons; and brothers-in-law, Barry O'Brien, Pat Hayes, Lewis Carrier, Donald Hennigar. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 12 noon with Rev. Gerald M. White as celebrant. Pallbearers are Nelson Lavigne, James Mazerolle, Donald O'Brien, Johnny Hayes, Joseph Boutinne and Lewis Carrier. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
