NIERLICH, ERWIN It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Erwin Nierlich at his home in Fredericton on October 21, 2009. Erwin was born July 01, 1934 in Bistritz, Romania and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He had a passion for photography and a gift to in vision the perfect picture. He was also a talented craftsman and skilled carpenter working for many years at Wilson Builders. Erwin is survived by his wife of 52 years Hermine (Reissner); sons, Robert (Pam) Nierlich, Peter (Melanie) Nierlich; and nothing brought a smile to his face any quicker than his three grandchildren, Sophia and Bennett Nierlich Coen, and Jessica Nierlich. Erwin was predeceased by his parents Helen Hager and Nicholas Savu. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB on Monday, October 26th at 11:00am with Pastor Douglas Moore officiating. Interment will take place at the Douglas Rural Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere Thank You to all the staff at the Oncology and the Emergency department at the DECH.
