POLCHIES, RICHARD "DICKIE" DAVID The passing of Richard "Dickie" Polchies of Kingsclear First Nation, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on October 24, 2009. He was 68. Born in Caribou, Maine, he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Sacobie) Polchies. Dickie was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Elaine (Mullin) Polchies; son, Randy Polchies (Dawn) of Kingsclear; daughters, Frances Nicholas and Laura Levi of Chapel Island; brothers, Walter William Polchies, Eldon Polchies and Lorne Polchies (Adrienne) all of Kingsclear; sister, Pauline Sargeant of Sanford, Maine; grandchildren; great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road. Funeral service on Thursday at St. Ann's Kingsclear Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Father Donald Savoie officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Memorials to the Parapalegic Association or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
