ARMSTRONG, WILLIAM (BILL) DONALD 77, of McAdam and formerly of Steeves Mountain passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Bill, born August 24, 1932 in Saint John, was a son of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Pitt) Armstrong. He was a retired truck driver. Bill was an avid woodworker and he loved animals. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Marilyn (Johnson); daughters, Judy Armstrong of Fredericton, Kim Young (Bob) of McAdam; son David (Alanna) of Riverview; three cherished grandchildren, Melissia Armstrong (Craig), Justin and Brittany Young. Also survived by sister, Alleyne Miller of Saint John; brothers, Kenneth (Janice) of Grand Manan and Robert of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by brother, Douglas; sisters, Evelyn Armstrong and Audrey Duke. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372- 4800) with visiting Wednesday 6 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Thursday, October 29 at 2 pm with Linda Harper officiating.
