
PANSY I. CAMPBELL
CAMPBELL, PANSY I. The passing of Pansy Ivanna Campbell, widow of the late Robert Thompson Campbell, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Monday, October 26, 2009. She was 91. Born July 25, 1918 in Oromocto, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Blanch (Malone) Campbell. Pansy spent most of her life in Lincoln, N.B. as a homemaker and enjoyed craftwork especially quilting, knitting, crocheting and ceramics. Pansy was the first Girl Guide in N.B. to win a Silver Lifesaving Medal in 1932 at the age of 14. She was affiliated with the United Church of Canada. Pansy is survived by her three daughters, Connie Power (Eugene), Catherine Green (Edward) and Carolyn Perkins (Douglas) all of Lincoln, N.B.; four grandchildren, David Power, Kelly Young, Amy Perkins and Alice Perkins; three great grandchildren, Richard Young, Robert Young and Ryan Young. Also survived by one sister Elizabeth Brooks residing at York Manor. Predeceased by her parents, husband Robert and brothers, Stanley, John and James. Although there will be no public visitation, friends are welcome to join the family for a memorial service to be held Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 am from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. Rev. Bob Jones will officiate. Interment in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to The Oromocto S.P.C.A. or the Salvation Army Fredericton Community Church.
