LILLI KATE EHRENREICH

EHRENREICH, LILLI KATE It is with great sadness that the family of Lilli Ehrenreich announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on October 27th, 2009 at the age of 81 years. She was born in Gurkow, Germany in 1928, then graduated in 1947 as a registered nurse in Berlin and began her nursing career in the General Hospital in Hamburg, Germany. In 1952 she immigrated to Canada and continued her nursing profession at the General Hospital in Belleville, ON. There she met Albin, who became her loving husband for 52 years until 2006 when he predeceased her. From there the family moved to Brampton, ON, where she continued her nursing career while raising four wonderful children. Years later, she helped her husband in the family owned business, a successful restaurant in Deep River, ON. The couple eventually settled in Prince William, NB, in 1981 where they owned and enjoyed their animal farm. She was admired for her many artistic talents, gardening knowledge and cooking skills as she worked along with her craftsman husband for many years at the Kings Landing Hist. Settlement. She developed lasting friendships with her neighbours and members of the congregation of St. Clements church in Dumfries. Lilli will be missed by her children, Heidi, Ralph, Christine (Steve) and Peter (Shirley); her brother, Kurt and sister-in-law, Milli Ferworn; her grandchildren, Kristjan (Lisa), Ricarda, Joey, Tyson and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Austin and Brianna; and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at St. Clements Anglican Church, Dumfries, on Monday, November 2nd, 2009 at 1 pm. The funeral service will take place at 2 pm the same day with The Venerable Walter Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. Tributes to Lilli's memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the DECH palliative unit for their excellent care.
