HODGIN, MARILYN R. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Hodgin of Haneytown, NB at the Oromocto Public Hospital on November 10th, 2009. She was born February 25th, 1941 in Saint John, NB to Kathleen Collier (neé Carson) and the late John Collier. She was a loving wife to Don Hodgin for 48 years. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Don; her daughters, Kathleen Doane (Stephen) of Halifax, NS and Kelly Ann Coleman (Richard) of Haneytown, NB; grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Doane and Cody and Kyle Coleman; her brothers, Ron, John (Marie) and Vernon (Heather); her sisters, Sharron (Reg) and Rita (Bob) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Bruce; Oromocto Public Hospital first floor nursing staff (especially Vianne and Brittany) and Drs. Woods and Sainz. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12th, 2009 from 3 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 13th, 2009 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Philip Penny officiating. Interment will occur in the Hampton Rural Cemetery immediately following a reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arthritis Society or the NB Lung Association.
