Annette (Geddes) Davis

69, Sydney Mines Annette (Geddes) Davis, 69, passed away April 28, 2008, at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney. Born in Florence, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Lena Mary (MacDonald) Geddes. She was educated at Holy Angles in Sydney and St. FX University. She spent most of her working career at St. Elizabeth and Northside General Hospital until her retirement. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William Davis; a son, William (Sherry) Davis, Bedford; daughter, Patricia (Brian) Bragg, North Sydney; and her granddaughter, Erin Bragg. She is also survived by her brother, Robert, Canso; and her sister, Elizabeth Broderick, Sydney. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Cemetery, Tobin Road, Sydney Mines.
