CLARKE, MURIEL E The passing of Muriel E. Clarke of Island View NB occurred on Wednesday, November 18th at the Mountainside Lodge in Island View NB. Born in Glassville NB, she is a daughter of the late Allan & Sadie (Chase) Elliott. She is survived by 3 sons; Wayne (Linda), Kim (Janis) and Steven (Kris) all of New York State, 2 brothers Gordon Elliott (Joyce) of Connecticut USA, Allan (Phyllis) of Chicago USA, 2 sisters Ruth Spring (John) and Joyce Galvin (James) both of Connecticut USA, special sister in law Joyce Langin (Allan) of Minto, NB, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews as well as her extended family at Mountainside Lodge. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Leslie H. Clarke, a daughter Karen (Peter) Gorski of Ohio and an infant brother Arthur. Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held at the Island View Baptist Church on Sunday, November 22 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Following a reception in the church basement, interment will take place at the Ripples Community Cemetery.
