ALMA ANGELINE CARR

CARR, ALMA ANGELINE 1918-2009 The death of Alma A. Carr of Geary, N.B. occurred at the Oromocto Hospital on November 23, 2009. She was the wife of the late Lester B. Carr. Alma was born in Rusagonis, N.B. on November 17, 1918 to Fraser and Cora Mae (Waugh) Waugh. Predeceased by parents, husband and oldest son, L. Roger Carr and all her siblings - Willard Waugh, Fraser (Jr.) Waugh, Byron Waugh, George Waugh, Ken Waugh and sisters Muriel Guthrie, Marjory Woodworth and Laura Waugh. She will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren. She leaves daughter-in-law Mary Rose Carr and her son Mark Carr and daughter Kimberly Carr, daughter Phyllis Lipsett and her daughter Adina Lipsett and son Christian Lipsett, son James (Linda) Carr and his son James (Carol) Carr and daughter Sara Jane (Rafe) MacKenzie, son Ross (Lynn) Carr and his sons Scott and Joel Carr and daughter Candice Carr, son Nelson (Marianne) Carr and his sons Matthew and Zachary Carr. She will also be missed by sister-in-law Dorothy Carr of Sussex, brother-in-law Foster Woodworth, and Ashley Carr of Fredericton, many nieces and nephews as well as her good friend Joan Till of Geary. She is also survived by six great grandchildren. A very capable and very devoted wife, mother and homemaker, she was a faithful member of the Geary United Baptist Church. She was always interested in and contributed to the community in which she lived. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 26 at 2 PM at the Geary United Baptist Church, Broad Rd., Geary. Internment in the Asa Carr Cemetery following the service. For those who wish memorial tributes may be made to the Geary United Baptist Church Building Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association or other charities of choice.
