GULLISON, JOHN "JOHNNY" HOWARD The sudden passing of John Howard Gullison of Kingsley Road, NB, husband of Cynthia (Thomas) Gullison occurred on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at his residence. Born on January 19, 1945 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Howard and Pamela (Norrad) Gullison. John was a retired firefighter with the city of Fredericton. He enjoyed raising and showing Belgian horses, he also enjoyed playing cards. In addition to his wife, Cynthia, John is survived by his only daughter, Kimberly (Currie) and husband Andy; grandchildren, Brittany and Brianna; sister, Ellen (Raymond) Hay; mother-in-law, Fannie Thomas; sister-in-law, Loretta Thomas; nieces and nephews, Jamie (Erin) Bunker, Chris Bunker, Jill Bunker, Terry (Shannon) Hay and Ellen-Anne (Jody) Matchett. Besides his parents, he was pre- deceased by his sister, Carol and brother, Terry. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 2 pm with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will take place in St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church building fund.
