DAVID WILLIAM MCALLISTER
MCALLISTER, DAVID WILLIAM The death of David William McAllister occurred on November 30th, 2009 at his home in Jellicoe, Ontario. Born May 8th, 1936 in Bryenton, NB, he was the eldest son of the late Earl W. and Adelaide (Dell Blackmore) McAllister. David is survived by his daughter, Tanja Randoja (Olav) of Cannington, ON and son Kurt (Kimberly Kay) of Halifax, NS and their mother, Anne Nowlan (George) of Red Bank, NB. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul (Sylvia), Bryenton, NB and John (Nancy) Miramichi, NB and by his sisters Joyce Astle (John), Emily Haswell (Hugh) both of Fredericton, NB and Alice Brown (Harold), Mount Albert, ON and several cousins, nieces and nephews. David was a welder, machinist and trucker working on the Miramichi, Lepreau, Alberta and Northern Canada. He had worked and lived in Jellicoe for the past twenty-five years. David had a wide variety of interests including woodworking. His little dog, Tiger, was his constant companion. David had good friends and neighbours who assisted him in his time of failing health. It was his request that following cremation, his ashes remain in the area. A Memorial will be held at a later date.
