ARNOLD BRYCE MOIR

MOIR, ARNOLD BRYCE The family wishes to announce the passing of Arnold "Bryce" Moir from this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 17, 1942 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, he was the son of Elizabeth "Bessie" (Bruce) Moir and the late Arthur Wellington Moir. Bryce was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church, Noonan, NB, where he donated many hours in the construction of the church and later on as a driver of the Sunday school bus, he was also a teacher for the adult Sunday school class. Bryce was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Springhill Construction until July when he became too ill to work and has been hospitalized for the last 10 weeks. Bryce was also a licensed carpenter and worked on various buildings in the Fredericton area. He will be remembered as a kind and loving person with a wonderful sense of humour. Bryce will be greatly missed by his wife, Ena (Sullivan) Moir; sons, Kyle (Lysa) and Craig; granddaughter, Starr; his mother, Elizabeth Moir; siblings, Melbourne Moir, Kenneth W. (Noreen) Moir, Wanda (David) Lyons and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor Marjorie Reid officiating. Interment will take place in the Zealand Community Cemetery, Zealand, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
