TODD, LOENA MAE The passing of Loena Mae Todd of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late William D. Todd occurred on Friday, December 4, 2009 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on June 19, 1916 in Douglas, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Lina (Hawkins) Flemming. She was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church. Loena was a clerk for the DND Civil Service. She volunteered at York Manor Nursing Home for many years. Loena enjoyed playing the piano and many appreciated the concerts given by her at York Manor Nursing Home. Loena is survived by her son, Michael Todd (Marie Yolande) of Douglas, NB; granddaughters, Nicole Paulin (Bert) and Lisa Arbeau (Joe) both of Beaver Dam, NB; great grandson, Dylan Arbeau and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Loena was predeceased by her sisters, Madeline, Audrey and Georgine and brother, Lawrence. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 2-4 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. George Feensta officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery.
