WILSON, WYNN "MINNERS" With great love and sadness, we announce that Minners passed away on Saturday, December 5th at the Victoria General Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, NS after a brief but hard fought battle with leukemia. He will be deeply missed by his father Vaughn; step-mom Leanne; brothers Wayne (Joan) and David; niece Laura; nephews Tommy, Jason and Marty; step-brother Terry (Jane); step-sister Debbie (Lloyd); his many cousins, friends and beloved cat Marilyn. He was predeceased by his mother, Jeanne. Wynn was born in McNamee, New Brunswick. He graduated with honours from Upper Miramichi Regional High School and then went on to achieve an honours degree in Biology from Mount Allison University. He lived in Vancouver and Toronto before finally settling in Dartmouth, NS. At the time of his death, Wynn was the Executive Director of Our Neighbourhood Living Society in Bedford. Wynn was an incredibly giving man. He was an advocate for those who were most in need, a defender of woman's rights and a home for animals that nobody else wanted. Wynn's favorite place in the world was Marwynds, his beloved camp in Stewiacke where he connected with nature and indulged in his passion of photography. He loved gardening, all animals, laughing and a good glass of red wine. Wynn was blessed with a large gift of humour that will be missed by all. There will be a gathering at the Atlantic Funeral Home in Dartmouth on Wednesday, December 9th from 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Thursday from 2 to 3 pm with a reception to follow. Interment will be in Boiestown, NB.
