KOWALCHUK, RUSSELL NICHOLAS 63, of Cocagne, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born May 14, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anne (Eliuk) Kowalchuk. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne-Marie LeBlanc in March 2001. He is survived by his sister, Linda Kettela of Fredericton, two nephews: Paul Kettela (Angela) of Woodstock and Michael Kettela (Monique) of Miramichi, great niece Taylor Kettela, great nephew Jordan Kettela, both of Miramichi, as well as the large extended family of his late wife Anne-Marie. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment will be in Cocagne. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Frenette's Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297).
