GALLAGHER, ARLETTA "LETTIE" FERN It is with saddened hearts that the family of Arletta Fern Gallagher of Kingsclear announce her passing on December 31, 2009. She was 97. Born in Kingsclear, NB, she was the daughter of the late Duncan and Sarah (Elliott) Kelly and wife of the late Alton Charles Gallagher. Lettie was the oldest member of the 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by her daughter Alta Harvey (Ken) of Kingsclear; six grandchildren Laurie Harvey of Alberta, Randie Harvey (Kathy) of Fredericton, Sherie Harvey of Fredericton, Rodney Jordan (Jody) of Fredericton, Ronald Jordan (Leslie) and Lance Jordan (Michelle) all of Nova Scotia; ten great grandchildren Candice, Alex, Rachel, Ryan, Matthew, Chase, Holly, Jorji, Quinn, and Gracie; one great-great grand daughter Kendra; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Ann Jordan; sisters Ella, Maggie, Annie, Cora, Vida, Marion, Elsie, and Beatrice; brothers Albert, Elwood, Allan, Coburn, Burton, and Wilmot; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held from the 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Kendall McRae will officiate assisted by Rev. Eugene Morrell. Interment in the Kingsclear Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Palliative Care Unit DECRH, 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church or Cemetery Fund. A reception will be held at the church, immediately following the funeral.
