BROOKS, LOUIS T. At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, January 4, 2010, Louis Theodore Brooks of St. Mary's First Nation passed away at the age of 50. Born in Song Wan Ei, South Korea, he was a son of Louis T. & Mary A. Brooks of Clarksville, Tennessee. Louis was an avid photographer, naturalist and philanthropist devoting much of his time to the betterment of his community. He was a member of St Anthony's Parish. Louis is also survived by his companion Lynn Marie Dedam; brother Robert L. Brooks and his children Jennifer and Sarah Brooks of Clarksville, Tennessee; sister Cecelia A. Brooks and her family Anthony and his companion Tess (Feeney) and David Brooks of Nashwaak Bridge; sister Lora M. Gassett and her husband Chris Gassett of Clarksville, Tennessee. Visitation will begin this evening and again all day Wednesday at the home of the late Louis Brooks, 515 Maliseet Drive, St. Mary's First Nation. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Church on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating. Reception to be held in the church hall following services.
