DAVIS, NICOLE IRENE (CHAPLEAU) It is with great sadness we announce the death of Nicole Irene (Chapleau) Davis, which occurred after a lengthy battle with cancer on January 30, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. She was the eldest daughter of Jean (McKinnon) and Dale Stickles of Fredericton. Born in Fredericton, Nicole is survived by her children Danielle (Matt) Anderson of Edmonton AB, Andrew Barr, Brittney (Matt Munn) Barr and Dale Alexandra Drew all of Fredericton NB; sister Denise (Tim) MacKellar of Fort MacMurray AB; brother Rod (Karen) Chapleau of Fredericton NB; granddaughter Rebecca Anderson; niece and nephews, Justin and Michael Chapleau, Matthew and Courtney Kitchen and great nephew Blake. She was predeceased by her grandmother Irene MacKinnon and her birth father Rod Chapleau. Nicole was a loving, caring daughter and mother who focused her efforts on her family, friends, and pets. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 2 pm from the Nashwaaksis United Church with Rev. George Feenstra officiating and Rev. Gil MacKenzie assisting. Burial will be in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
