DAY, RAYMOND MERLE February 1st, 1942 - February 4th, 2010 Raymond Merle Day of Maugerville, NB passed away at DECH after a brief illness. Son of the late Arthur and Greta (McMonagle) Day. Survived by the love of his life Sandra (Morton) married for 44 years; daughters, Jennifer (Dale) Mott, Kimberly Day, Lisa (Jeremy) Jones and son, Andrew (Kelly) Day; grandchildren, Jasmine, Zachary, Thomas, Carrie, Emily, and Olivia, his pride and joy! His sisters, Ruth (Carl) Bruce, Betty Spencer; brothers, Leonard (Darlene) Day, Robert (Peggy) Day; cousins, Donna (Stuart) Bridges, Shirley (Vaughn) Dunfield and many nieces and nephews. He was a trucker for many years. He drove the Silver Cow for 25+ years for R & G Transport. Avid trapper, hunter and fisherman, loved to have his flower and vegetable gardens for his children and grandchildren. You always knew when he arrived and missed him when he left. Pallbearers will be, Buzz Harvey, Barry Thompson, Darrell Rumble, Ernie Moffitt, Wally Lawrence, Todd Hunter and Cecil Harvey. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Saturday, February 6th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 7th at 2:00 pm in the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Reception to follow at the Maugerville Community Center. Interment to follow at a later date.
