82, Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Gerald Butts, 82, of Glace Bay. Gerald was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Butts of Glace Bay. Gerald was a veteran of the Second World War. Besides his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his first wife, Jenny Johnson, his second wife, Helen Eveleigh, both of Glace Bay, brother, Kenneth Butts (Lil Taylor), St. Catharines, Ont. Gerald is survived by sisters, Eileen (Al) Tanner, St. Catharines, Ont., Isabel (late James Burte), Glace Bay; brother, Eric (Ada) Butts, St. Catharines, Ont.; aunt, Beatie MacDonald; stepchildren, Linda, Pasty, Shelly and John and their families of which there are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews of Glace Bay and St. Catharines, Ont. Visitation for the late Gerald Butts will take place in Patten Funeral Home and Chapel, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, 849-7520, Tuesday, May 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev.
