COOKE, ANNE MATILDA "NANA" Anne M. Cooke of Fredericton passed away peacefully on February 15, 2010 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was 82. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Euphemia (Jeffrey) Phillips and wife of the late William Jesse Cooke. Nana was an avid gardener and loved spending her summers at her trailer in Cambridge Narrows. She loved to golf, curl and was a member of the Moncton Curling Association, as well as a member of the I.O.D.E. Survived by her sons Jeffrey (Audrey) of Fredericton, Michael (Patricia) of Saint John; granddaughters Andrea, Kelly, and Katie; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister in law Eleanor Cooke. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
