MR. LAWRENCE W. MILLER

MILLER, MR. LAWRENCE W. - The death of Mr. Lawrence Wilkins (Larry) (Lou) Miller of the Brittian Rd, Lower Greenwich, N.B., husband of Mrs. Esther (Palmer) Miller occurred peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 26, 2001. Born in Saint John a son of the late Louis and Hilda (Warrington) Miller. Mr. Miller was a Stationary Engineer by trade and had been employed with Irving Paper for 25 years retiring in 1997. He was a member of the ELKS Club where he was Past Deputy of N.B. #1 and P.E.I. #1, he was also a member of the Main Brace and at one time had been a musician by trade, playing in several bands. Mr. Miller had also been considered the #1 drummer in Atlantic Canada at the time. Surviving besides his wife are his sons Mark (Jullian) of Michias, Maine and Darren of Saint John, daughters Wanda Anderson (Tom), Tanya and Karen MacKinnon all of Saint John, sisters Jean Benton and Joyce Goddard of Saint John and Hilda Rivers of Tampa, Florida along with 13 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Miller is predeceased by daughter Gewdolen Miller, sister Alice Steede and brothers Lewis, Donald and Morris. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) from where the service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2001 at 2p.m. Interment will follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
