Son of the late David and Adeline (Rooney) Tennant. Survived by his wife, Jean (MacKay) (Fiander) Tennant, one step son, Dr. Don Fiander (Louise) of Michigan, two step daughters, Linda Walsh (Sam) of Bocabec, Karen Lord (Everett) of St. Andrews, seven step grandchildren, Craig and Angela Walsh, Justin and Laura Lord, Brian, Diane and Julian Fiander, two sisters-in-law, Gladys Tennant and Mary Tennant, two aunts, Betty Brown and Geraldine McNab, one uncle, Ted Rooney, two nieces, one nephew, and several cousins. Predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Robert, Gilbert and Paul Tennant, several uncles and aunts. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB (506-466-1844) from where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bill Brennan officiating. Interment at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
