83, Neil’s Harbour Pearl Douglas Budge, 83, of Neil’s Harbour, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Buchanan Memorial Hospital, Neil’s Harbour. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Warr) Budge. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church. Pearl enjoyed hunting and sword fishing and loved playing cards. Surviving are daughter, Margaret (Timothy) Fitgerald; son, Robert (Marlene) Budge; grandchildren, Bobby (Brenda) Fitzgerald, Corinne Fitzgerald, Darren Birand, Dwayne (Andrea) Fitzgerald, Ricky Fitzgerald, Pamela (Brian) Herridge, John (Robin) Budge, Karen (Mike) Kuchurean.; and 12 great-grandchildren. Pearl was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph (Edna), Allister, Edgar (Utah), Robert Budge, sister, Bertha (Peter) Burchell, and granddaughter, Sharon Budge. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 13 at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Neil’s Harbour, with Rev. Elliott Siteman officiating. Burial at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to palliative care, or Buchanan Memorial Foundation. The family would like to thank palliative care workers and nursing staff at Buchanan Memorial Hospital.
